Realtytrac.com released the statistics of the top 500 zip codes throughout the United States with foreclosure listings. The list is ordered by the “total foreclosure listings” per zip code.
It is important to note what part of the process most of the foreclosure listings are in, as many foreclosures in the “notice of default” stage are very preliminary as far as foreclosure is concerned.
Foreclosure data is sorted by zip code, city, state, default notice, auction notice, bank repossessions, and total foreclosure filings.
Detroit, Las Vegas, and Florida seemed to be the worst of the worst, and people may want to start referring to Ft. Lauderdale as “Foreclosuredale”.
